Two generations at the bench
Time Central is a family-run Canadian service centre. For more than sixty years, our family has repaired, restored and cared for watches and jewellery, for retailers, for leading watch brands and for their clients.
Our story
Precision and integrity, handed down
Time Central is led by Ryan Goncalves, a second-generation watch professional with more than 36 years of hands-on experience. He grew up around the bench, learning the trade the way it has always been learned: one movement at a time.
The standards we work to today were set by his father, Joseph Goncalves. His insistence on precision, honesty and doing the job properly is still the measure every repair is held to.
Today Time Central works as a technical partner, consultant and authorized service centre for Swiss manufacturers and global brands, while still treating every customer's watch as if it were our own.
His emphasis on precision and integrity continues to guide our work.

Time Central is one of very few independent authorized Cartier service centres in Canada. We hold all current Cartier certifications, use genuine parts, and our watchmakers complete annual brand-mandated certification testing.

We develop highly qualified watchmakers. Many of those we have trained have gone on to launch their own brands, join manufacturers such as Patek Philippe, Rolex and Breitling, or open their own shops.

Ryan has taken part in development programs with Canadian and international watch brands and watch-technology companies, and we consult on projects for watch companies at home and abroad.

We print custom logo dials for individuals, corporations, institutions and brands, and believe we are the largest custom dial printer in the country.
